Welcome to Module 2, Leading the Planning Effort. The content of this module has been organized into the following four categories: introduction, presentation, resources, and quiz. The introduction section provides a brief video overview about key points of the module. The presentation section offers a PDF version of the PowerPoint slides, an mp3 file to listen to the audio of the presentation, and a QuickTime movie that provides the slides with the audio. The resources section provides access to relevant case studies, links, and supplementary materials. Additional resources for all the modules can be found under the resources section of the “Know Your Region” website. Finally, the quiz section provides an interactive opportunity for you to test your knowledge on the material in this module.
Module 2, Leading the Planning Effort, is designed to provide practitioners and policy makers with the tools and resources to effectively lead development planning efforts from a regional perspective. Given the significant role that developing a successful regional call to action has on the success of regional development initiatives, this module will highlight case studies and will provide tools for overcoming common obstacles to colaboration.
