Module 4-a Case Study: Linking Workforce Development and Economic Development, examines how global changes have transformed the requirements of the workforce development system and necessitate greater collaboration among workforce development and economic development initiatives. Using WIRED and Western North Carolina as case studies, this module examines effective processes for linking workforce development and economic development initiatives and highlights challenges and solutions for implementing these practices.
