The Funding Sources section is designed to help you identify private and federal funding sources that may be used for economic development in your area. Use the directory at the top and right-hand side of the funding sources page to access the websites of organizations that support development initiatives.

In the National Development Organizations section, you will find several organizations that are focused on enhancing community climate and business competitiveness. Visit these organization’s websites for additional development information.

In the Needs Assessment section, you will find additional information regarding the national needs assessment that was conducted as the first stage of the “Know Your Region” project to gauge the extent to which practitioners know and utilize core concepts of regionalism and cluster development.

The Tutorials section offers tutorials on data sources and basic economic and statistical concepts important to economic and workforce developers.

Finally, in the Case Studies section, the practitioner will find case study summaries of various initiatives that illustrate one or more aspects of  the regional approach to economic development.
